Located in secluded Lambert's Cove, this architecturally unique cottage sits
directly on Flat Bottom Pond. The verdant 8.5 acre property has an "up-island"
feel, yet is conveniently located 2 miles from the town center. It is
surrounded by three large conservation areas with extensive walking
trails. The main house has been completely updated, yet retains a whimsical and country feel.
Special features include an ivy-covered outdoor shower, studio cottage,
secret garden, large meadow, beachstone fireplace, and woodburning stove.
The house is equipped with digital cable, VHS and DVD players, and high-speed internet with
a wireless network. We have also arranged for a beach pass to the
spectacular, nearby, private Lambert's Cove Beach.
**New for 2008: Major improvements to Writer's Studio (hardwood floors,
rain shower); Activity Barn with ping-pong table; and Mooring on Lake Tashmoo are
all available to renters.
**In general, the Steamship Authority does not allow transfer of ferry tickets.
Therefore, it is imperative to plan your summer vacation early in order to
reserve ferry tickets for your preferred times.
We still have a round-trip Headstart Program ticket which can be transferred to
renters for the week of July 27-August 3.
